Spectacular viewing of scenery, birdlife, wildlife and the stunning Lake Elmenteita are part of the Kenya Lakes System World Heritage Site. Not only will you encounter wildlife but you will also see the geologic wonder of the Great Rift Valley.
Some of the wildlife you may see during day time drives include: Burchell’s zebra, Rothschild’s giraffe, Cape buffalo, Eland, Waterbuck, Thompson’s gazelle, Grant’s gazelle, Impala, Baboon, Vervet monkeys, Colobus monkeys, Striped and spotted hyena, Jackals, Leopard, and Lion.
Night Game Drives
Very few wildlife conservancies offer the truly unique experience of night game drives.
Possible sightings other than those visible during the day: Aardvark, Aardwolf, Bush baby, Bush pig, Caracal, Genet cat, Striped hyena, Bat eared fox, Honey badger, Porcupine, White tailed mongoose, Spring hare, Zorilla, and Owls.

Night game drives are possible with an experienced guide and prior booking arrangements.

You must have a GUIDE from one of our tourism Partners or book with the Soysambu Conservancy office. |

A 24-hour notice is preferred to guarantee availability. |

The charge for a Soysambu Guide is KES 2,000/= per car and a GUIDE can be collected from the main gate. Please ensure there is space for your Guide inside your Vehicle. |

The charge for each vehicle is NOT INCLUDED. Please ask for information from our front desk. |
|
All spotlights must have a red filter. |
|
For your safety, never leave your vehicle under any circumstances. |
|
Please notify our operations desk at 0711 235 039 for vehicle registration, number of people, time of arrival and departure, and confirmation of when you are finished. |
